Handicap Cabin - Whats the difference?

We've just been assigned Cabin 7631 which deck profile indicates is a handicap accessible cabin. Does anybody know what the differences are between that and a non-handicap cabin? Is it larger, etc?

Its much larger, there is NO bathtub..just a shower that is level with the rest of the bathroom so nothing to step up on. It has a shower chair and rails in the shower and around the toilet. There are buttons all over the room to push if you fall ...and yes, they do work well! My daughter saw one in the bathroom and pushed it....within second the bridge is calling dow nto the room to see if everything was ok. .The verandahs on the Cat 5 & up are about 4 times the regular ones. The closet is a walk in closet. Oh and there is a door bell on the room LOL! The only thing that was a problem to us was the shower since my daughter was only 2 1/2 and hated showers so she basically had one shower in 4 days and once we got off the ship and to Disney first thing she had was a nice long bath!

#7636 is large enough to put a cooper mini car in it!!
The verahnda is large enough for a large gathering on it!!
The batheroom is huge also!

I just got my dcl book yesterday and saw the rooms. I was woundering when booking did you request that room becouse you needed it or did you get it becouse it wasnt being used and they were giving out room numbers? can you request it is you dont have a chair and then if someone needs it they bump you two anoughther room. Mum

I did not request it. We do not have a need for handicap access. We were assigned the cabin - apparently randomly. I suppose they could bump us if they need it, which is understandable. I assume they'd bump us up in category which would be OK by me.
