Handicap Accessible GV at OKW

Hi, does anyone know if there are HA Grand villas at OKW. thanks!

They have at least 3 that I know of. There are 2 in the building with the elevator. They also told me there is another one on the ground floor of one of the buildings. We have stayed in both of the ones in the elevator building. If you need one, when you make your reservations, get them to guarantee one for you. I always ask for the elevator because it is great for getting the luggage upstairs. They are very nice and the master had a roll in shower. We only need it for my brother because he can't do stairs well and we have to help him with his shower. He is retarded and cerebral palsy but he can walk short distances. Hope this has helped and have a great trip. Oh, they have wheelchairs you can get from the front desk. They are free and can be used at the parks.

Wow, great news. I had been under the impression that the only accessible GVs were at BWV (and perhaps soon at SSR). The whole two floors business is tough on us as DS (now 6) is wheelchair-bound, and carrying him upstairs will no longer be an option at some pont in the future.

We stayed in one for a night in Oct. of 2002. I think it was building 63 or 62. The GVs are on the 2nd floor, but there was an elevator in that building. We noticed the roll-in shower, and the room under the counterspace in the kitchen. We didn't need a HA unit, but were just assigned this one.

Only the master bedroom is accessable in any of the OKW units. There is no way to get to the second floor and the bathrooms upstairs are not HA.
