Can we bring our 4 month old on the safari or was it too bumpy. I can't remember if babies were allowed? Or if it is even safe? Thanks for any insight.
There isn't a height requirement for this ride, but it is really bumpy. I brought my 8 month old DS on it & he fell asleep - but I think at 8 months he had pretty good head/neck control. I don't know that I'd take a 4 month old on.
also, its less bumpy at the front than it is at the back..
I think so long as you have a tight grip.. it will be fine. Depending on the driver it can be a bit bumpy though!!!
I think you got a lot of great suggestions. I think w/ a carrier and sitting closer to the front you'll be fine. My MIL has back issues and we requested the front. It is much smoother than the back of the vehicle.
Took my DS on the safari at 4 months old in his Baby Bjorn. We sat in the second row. It was bumpy, but as you can see below, he made out just fine, no permanent damage, LOL.
I see babys of all ages (even very new] newborns) every day riding the Safari. Seems it doesn't matter what row they're in, most of them are carried off asleep at the end Something about the rocking/jostling motion of the vehicles I guess
I agree with all the above posts! We've been on KS many times with DD in the sling, and she almost always falls asleep! Here's a picture of her just before her first birthday DD asleep on KS
The last few rows are definitely much bumpier than the front!

I was 5 months pregnant and had an 18 month old last time we rode the safari. Before we boarded the ride we were told by a CM to ride in the very front on the jeep. It is bumpy so make sure you or your spouse sit in the middle with the baby. Good Luck!!
