DD2 works at DL in the retail areas.

Came down sick two days ago, went to the doc yesterday. She has HFM. The only places she's been the last week is home and work, and one stop at the gas station---so it's fair to assume she picked it up at work.

She's off work for a few days now. Hopefully the meds kick it---she's supposed to fly home for a few days in 2 weeks, but she won't if she's sick.

Ok, this is odd. I'm part of a FB group about dealing with food allergies at Disney parks and cruises. Several people posted today they had come down with this at WDW recently. I've never heard of this happening from the parks before today. They said they had nails fall out! Horrible! Hope your daughter gets better.

It's going around big time right now all over. Hardest part is adults are now getting it where it used to be only kids. When I had it (got it from my 3 year old) thought it was strep test was negative. Doctor chalked it up to a virus. Then the soreness started to go away but still had it in a few spots. And remembered my little one had it and put 2 and 2 together.

My now 21 yr old dd got it when she was 1.5 yrs old and she had it so bad that her gums swelled down over her teeth and she was hospitalized due to dehydration because she wouldn't use a sippy cup or even a bottle!
