After seeing the first ones of your dog eyeing the hamster I was afraid of what I might see in the following pictures! I would've been too nervous to hold a camera.
I like the first one of the hamster and the dog the best -- the sense of anticipation with the dog's ears perked up and the hamster seemingly unaware of the dog's presence.
On another note, is he a German shepherd? My girls were really pushing me on Sunday to get another dog and that's one of the breeds that came up after I said IF we get another one, it would have to be a smart one!
The hamster should be glad he was with your Shepherd and not our Corgi's! At least one of them would have thought he was a tasty snack and the pictures would not have been appropriate for the board.

Linda - I just love those! Unlike others () I knew that the photos would be cute ones! I love the ones with her ears - she is so interested!! The hamster doesn't look worried at all, so they are obviously very used to each other.
Pugrpooh - I can vouch for German Shepherds as well! I am sure that Charlotte (my GS and avatar) understands every word I say - whether she obeys them is sometimes a different story of course! But she is very good and gentle with smaller animals (dogs and cats - haven't tried a hamster yet!!)
