hampton lakes and westridge!!!

hi, my family r for orlando at the end of june. my hubby and i have never been, and r goin with my sis and bro in law, their children, and my parents (who where there a few years ago, and had everything planned for them, as the people they were travelling with then go to orlando nearly every year.

we have book through a travel agent, with a villa, and basically the travel agent have given us the names of two places and that we will get allocated when we arrive.

anyways, we have been told we will b in either hampton lakes or westridge, and was just wondering if anyone has heard of either of these areas, and if so, how far are they from internation drive and WDW???

any info would b great, thanx, nad

The communities are in Davenport. We have stayed in that area the past two years. On that stretch of 27, you will find a Publix close by, a pizza place, Chinese food place and an Applebees. If you go further north on 27, about 2 miles past the junction of 192, you will find a super Wal Mart and a few other businesses. There are many restaurants and shops on 192 traveling towards Disney. Click on the links for map 1 and 2 for the West end of 192.

You will also want to learn the Sherbeth Road shortcut. I am pretty lousy at directions, but the link that I gave you above shows Sherbeth Road and indicates that it is a shortcut. You basically take a left onto that road and follow all the cars to Osceola Parkway and follow the signs to the park you want.
