Hampton in Orlando Airport?

Good Afternoon,

We are leaving for our cruise on 9/26 and we booked a room at the Hampton Inn Orlando Airport for the night before. Has anyone stayed there? I understand it is like a mile or two away. Anyway, we got the disney transfers so we will take the hotel shuttle back to the airport and then what? Where do we go?

Thanks..oh yeah..and we got our documents already!!

im going in june 2005 and we are doing the same thing only staying at the courtyard orlando airport and my ta told me that you would take the shuttle back to the airport and go where you would if you were just getting off the plane. I think they have one designated area at the airport for the disney transportation.

I have never stayed there, but I think I can picture it in my mind. If I am picturing it correctly it is a newer Hampton Inn and looks very nice from the outside.

We will be crusing with you and I am very jealous that you already received your docs.

We stayed there in October (the night before our 6 am flight home ) and it was fine...nothing special but there was nothing to complain about either. It was clean and that's my only real concern when I'm looking for somewhere to lay our heads for a night.

My DD & I drove to the airport the next morning in our rental car but our friends (who had a later flight) took the shuttle. I believe they said the shuttle service was a little hectic first thing in the morning but you shouldn't be in too much of a rush to get back to the airport to catch the Disney Cruise bus so you should be fine.

It's very close to the airport...took maybe 5 minutes for me to drive there. I'd certainly stay there again if I needed somewhere close to the airport for a night.

Congrats on receiving your cruise documents...how exciting.

A bunch of the "off site" airport hotels are on a circle drive around a pond about 5 minutes from the airport, not sure if the Hampton is one of them, we stayed at the Sheraton there. The hotel shuttle dropped us right off at the DCL buses.

Anyone else stay there? Is the continental breakfast the "standard" Hampton Inn continental breakfast?
