I have always come in Dec to WDW but this year becasue we can no longer take holidays in Dec we are coming in late Oct. How are crowds and the Parades is it a similar thing like the MVMCP?

In theory, they are both pretty much the same - ticketed events, only certain rides open, two parades, characters in themed costumes.

We are going to our 3rd MNSSHP this October. I think it's a good time, but my husband LOVES it. They have two parades with moderately decorated floats (nothing nearly as elaborate as the Christmas parade, but still fun). The characters, especially the villains, roam around 'scaring' the guests. They have an awesome character dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern (Minnie is just TOO CUTE in her halloween mask!!). There's a special 'spooky' version of Wishes that's alot of fun as well :)

I  MNSSHP! It's my favorite parade. My beloved HM gets a float and my beloved Villains are out and about!
