You can't make a PTN dining reservation after September 5th so maybe it really is going away??? That stinks! This is my favorite parade and I thought for sure it would be around for years.

PTN is the best! I can't imagine them just stopping it altogether! Maybe they are going to put it on hiatus until after Christmas? I would be heartbroken if it ended.

I guess it's not possible for whatever reason, but I kind of wish Disney would just release allllllll of the Halloween-related dates in one blog. What I mean is, in addition to letting us know the season dates and MHP dates, it would be great if they could let us know when the Happiest Haunts tour begins, IF MahaloWeen is returning this year, if the Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou event is returning, etc. I don't mean they should roll out their full array of Halloween Time blogs in the middle of summer (like food and merchandise), of course, but just all of the information about anything that starts on a specific date and will require a reservation and extra money!

It's always frustrating to have to wait for one more blog, then one more blog, then one more blog, just to find out which special events are returning!

I don't actually think that's a bad idea. We already get each tidbit of info well after the WDW people. We should at least get it all in one go.

Being a newbie to the whole DL Halloween thing, can someone tell me what the happy haunts tour is all about and if it's offered during Halloween time but before the parties start?

The rumor that I have heard is that Paint the Night will go away for Halloweentime, come back for Christmas in November and December but only run on the weekends, and then go away again until Summer '17. Sad

Me too. I'm trying to figure out dining plans (approaching 60 day window for October), and I assume Blue Bayou will be out for nights with MHP if they're bringing that event back.

Can anyone here who happens to still have a map from last year's MHP verify what the closed rides were? I am trying to update the MHP post on page 1, and the ride closures that I found from 2015 were:

Tarzan’s Tree House
Casey Junior
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Enchanted Tiki Room
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

Obviously the Main Sreet vehicles wouldn't have been running either.

My guess is it needs an intensive refurb....it's a highly technical parade that has been running for over a year...it probably needs TLC and then I can see it coming back similarly to other parades....weekends only on non peek and everyday during busy season

Do Adults trick or treat as well? Sorry if this is a silly question lol. My husband and I are having a debate about it.

Thanks to those who answered my question about how busy it would be the first weekend. I'm very glad we have had our hotel reservation for months!

I have another VERY important question, haha... Does the Mint Julep Bar still serve the plain beignets along with the pumpkin ones?

As a Disney visa member in the 21st do I call Disney visa or Disney and beginning at which time? Thank
You!

I am a newbie so I don't know what other people do... but my husband and I will be there without kids and we plan to trick-or-treat! :)

Okay, I realize I could probably dig around in other threads and find this information but it would be lovely if some experienced Disneyland-goers here could give me some advice. :) We are flying down Monday, Oct. 24 and will go to the Halloween party that night. We will be there for three more days and will probably go to Universal Studios on Wednesday, Oct. 26 - the day when there is another MHP. But I can buy a two day park-hopper pass for Tuesday and Thursday, right? You don't have to go two days in a row with a 2-day ticket, right?
We are staying at Desert Inn & Suites. What is the best airport to fly into (we are coming from PDX)? Any other advice or past experience you can share with me would be greatly appreciated... like how to get from airport to hotel and from hotel to Universal Studios for a day. :) Thank you!

Perfect! We'll do the same then, he wasn't sure about it but I figure if we're paying 160.00 to attend the party, I want to get the most out of it lol

Does anyone know the closure for It's A Small World? The past two years we have gone during Halloween and it's been closed for the Holiday overlay. This time we will be driving down on the 22nd, in parks 23-25 with the 24th party. I am hoping we will make it before they do their week or two long closure!

Hmm...has anyone else noticed that other than Erin mentioning it in her post briefly that Ghost Galaxy is missing from the Halloween time/Halloween party entertainment list?

Last year I purchased as an AP member. This year I let it lapse, but still have a Disney Visa. Can someone tell me about pre-purchase with Visa? Is there discount or just pre-purchase date?
Thanks!!! Hooray Pumpkin Time!

I'm so excited, coming from Australia, arriving in Anaheim on the 22nd. The timing couldn't be more perfect!!
