Halloween!!

Hello!!!

I am looking into the Halloween events!
used to go to the parties in WDW.
is there a similar one in DLRP?
is it only on the 31st?

on the other days-- is it just some different decorations etc-
and no fireworks???
couldn`t find a topic on Halloween!

are people going to be dressed up?!!!!

I got the impression from the official website that there was a halloween party on the evening of the 31st but that was the only date.

I'm looking forward to seeing the halloween things when we go, I've never been to Disney at any festive time of year before so don't really know what to expect!

We're going next weds so will be there for the weekend the halloween stuff starts (though not there for the party).

From what I've read there are halloween parades and frontierland is made into halloweenland. As far as I am aware no fireworks (though maybe at the party?)

The only party is on 31 October as a separate event and there will be fireworks for that.

There are some cool things happening though and the Pink Witches and Pumpkinmen are fabulous.

Free facepainting too! My kids will LOVE that - thats the one thing we always get made to queue for ages for at Glastonbury festival LOL!

My 2 had their faces painted several times during our Halloween trip a few years ago and they looked fabulous, have they also got the hairdressers this year ? I didn't think they'd be able to do much with my boys having short cropped hair but with the addition of colours matched to their faces, spiders and cobwebs they looked terrific and some of the girls hairstyles they conjured up were truly terrifying.
I did feel sorry for the people in the laundry, all those white bed sheets and all that facepaint and hair spray.

My photos were taken on old fashioned film, I will try and scan and upload them at work tomorrow.
