Halloween weekend....

How crowded do you think the last weekened in October will be? We're booked for the last weekened in Sept, but dh wants to switch it to Halloween weekend because it will be cooloer. I think Halloween might make it really busy?

Don't know about crowds off hand. Did read that Halloween night for the MK Not so scary party is very crowded. Did you know that this also takes another admission ticket into MK? We had planned to visit aroung the same time but decided to postpone till Nov 1st. We've been to WDW once before in November (2-3 week) and the crowds were so light we were shocked. Hope that helped a bit. Either way Disney is the best there is!! Good luck.

The crowds are there more for the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot. I personally have enjoyed the trips I've taken to WDW in October. It is still very warm during the day but it cools down at night. The crowds are probably a little less in september than october but it's also hotter. The waits for the rides aren't bad at all.

We are going that weekend (Oct 28th - 31st). I've never been in Oct but I don't think the crowds will be too bad.

In 2003 we went for Halloween. In 2004 we were in Disney for the last week of September first week of October. It was hot for both trips. But the Sept/Oct one was in the low 90's, and the Oct/Nov one was in the mid 80's. So it did make a difference. Both times the crowd levels were great. The later trip though was a bit more crowded. Wait times were generally 15-30 minutes. Compared to 0-15 minutes when we went at the end of September. No, you have to remember last year a lot of people cancelled at their fall trips due to the hurricane situation. So, it may of impacted why it was so quiet during our trip.

We'll be there 10/30-11/6 and looking forward to Halloween in the Magic Kingdom at MNSSHP and then enjoying the rest of the week at the Food and Wine Festival. I'm hoping for warm weather, no rain and friendly people!
