I am planning another trip. 2004 was in 3rd week of Sept. 2005 was 1st week of Dec and I'm going for 3 days in June.

But I have annual trip to plan and can't decide between 3rd week of Sept again (week of my twins' bdays) or the week of Halloween 10/28-11/4.

My concerns are 1. I'll have to had pool heat to our rental home and want to ejnoy the resorts big pool, too and 2. my kids will miss trick or treating with their friends (a big thing when your 5).

Has anyone went this week before? Beside a special parade and wishes at MK do any of the parks have trick or treating on Halloween?

I know there is the Halloween party, but how does it compare to MVMCP. While I loved the parade and wishes, I found hte park to be WAY TOO crowded and I was there during the week. Is the Halloween party as bad?

What do you experts think?

Thanks,
Tabitha

We did MVMCP in 2004 and MNSSHP in 2005 and found the halloween party to be A LOT less crowded even though it was "sold out".

We were there Oct 28-31st (friday-mon) and I was surprised out uncrowded the parks were. We will definitly be going back again that time of year.

We do MNSSHP every time we go. The park is not crowded and there's lots ot do. MY DD now 8 has been enjoying this since she was 4. You have to buy tickets for the event separatly to your park admission.

Also we went to DTD and Boardwalk during the seek leading up to Halloween as they had "things" happening too
