Just booked a sneaky half term trip as couldn't resist all the Halloween celebrations. It's also my last chance to use my shareholders card and Salon Mickey as it expires on 31st October.
I booked using the French site for 2 nights at the Santa Fe and have sent off for Francillian AP's through the post (Thanks ThBa :thumbsup2) Flying Easyjet from Edinburgh and travelling with DD and her BF. We will need a good plan, early starts and FP's to fit everything in, but I can't wait.:donald:

yey - i'm loving all these new trips popping up, and not long to wait either :cheer2:!

Hey - well done on the booking Mick! :cool1:

What days are you there?

I managed to get quite good flight prices from Newcastle - was really surprised actually. As I'm flying with the girls on my own (first flight on my own with them!), I wanted to fly direct.

I haven't been to DLP and seen Halloween decorations since our first trip back in 2008 - never actually seen Halloween season (just the lovely decs as it was early October), so it's going to be a super (but busy) trip.

We will go with the view that we are drinking in the atmosphere and hopefully manage to get on a few favourite rides/meet the odd character. But not too worried about doing a massive amount this trip! :thumbsup2

I am thankful they haven't introduced magic bands at DLP yet - or we'd have no chance of bagging any decent FPs :rotfl2:!

We're there Tuesday to Thursday, looking forward to the calvacade as that wasn't on last time we were there in October. It's always a busy week, but it has a great atmosphere pixiedust:
The Air France flights are great times, just a bit much for us this time, you'll be fine with the girls Newcastle airport is easy to navigate and you'll all be able to sit together. Are you getting transfers from CDG or using VEA. We've booked with RS transport again, as they've been reliable in the past. :thumbsup2

I actually used a TA to book the flights (never done that before) but it worked out £80 cheaper than AF direct. At least they allow you to prebook seats without having to pay forTthem!

Times are great - gives us full days both ways really.

I haven't decided on transport yet. Usually use Ezyshuttle but it's a bit expensive for the 3 of us. Thinking of going for a shared with RSTransport but not sure.... Bit concerned with being on my own with the girls, but it will save us a fair bit!

I wouldn't have thought of using TA. Good tip for next time. We've used RS shared service for 4 return trips and only shared on one of them. They seem to have improved on punctuality over time. Last time they called while I was still in baggage claim to say they were there. They are cheaper and quicker than using VEA. Happy planning :thumbsup2

I'd love to go with John as I know him from previous trips and know I'm in good hands, but the cost is so much more! DH isn't keen on me going shared with being on my own, but I will work on it! ;) Hopefully we'll be lucky and share with some nice people, or even get the car to ourselves! :thumbsup2

I'm always on my own with children - we use rstransports regularly, pay shared shuttle price, and I've only ever shared once (we arrived early at CDG, so I called rstransports and they picked us up pretty much straightaway, then a family of 4 at the next gate exit, then we were off directly to DLP ).

Congratulations on your last minute trip - so exciting that you don't have too long to wait :thumbsup2
