I'm pretty accepting of all forms of candy, but beware...if you hand out any of the following, you got egged by the neighborhood kids (and a few nutty adults):
Mary Janes (mom paid good money for my dental work.)
Popcorn balls
Pennies
Coupons
Fruit (not just egged...but maybe punched by a 4 year old too)
Raisins (yeah. great. Old dried up fruit.)
Whoppers (mm...malted. Blarf)
Black Licorice
Good and Plenty (No they are not good, but there always seemed to be plenty or them.)
Necco Wafers (mmm...candy chalk!)
Werthers (seriously, we are kids...not living in a retirement home!)
Burnt Peanuts
Circus Peanuts
Regular Peanuts (get the gist folks? No nuts!)
Off season candy (easter bunnies, jelly beans, andes christmas candy)
Anything that isn't candy
Good n Plenty = UMMMM!!!
All of you licorice haters would have loved me. I traded chocolate for the licorice. Now the exchange rate was in my favor, but I still traded. To this day, if my one friend can find black or grape licorice rope, she buys me some.
I also love the licorice bit in JuJyfruits.
(Take your pick)....Beer or pot (Nothing like partiers handing out beers and weed to teens. (Ahhhh....that what it meant to be growing up in my neighborhood in the 70's).
