Halloween Time at Disneyland, Oct 16-19. Lots Of Pictures! Trip Report Completed

Our adventure continues in Frontierland.

Not much to comment on here. All I can really remember is being on the phone with my mom getting into a debate with her over something. She was really upsetting me so we both finally just dropped the topic, because neither of us could agree with the other about the topic we were discussing. So lets think happy thoughts and look around Frontierland, shall we...

Next Installment - Big Thunder Ranch with lots of cute carved pumpkin pictures!

Hey Wendy girll!

I'm loving your pictures. Nice camera!

Why thank you my dear! I wanted this pic!! I saw it when we were there and I thought "hey, that would make a cute avatar or pic for my sig" but it was at night so I didn't take it and then I never remembered to later on.

So I might be ummmmm, borrowing this at some point. :rolleyes1

I'm so glad your IPOD was in your car. The hotel doesn't look too bad. I have seen worse down there, heck we have stayed at worse. Remind me sometime to tell you the story about the trip from H E double tooth picks. Oh my the stories we could share.:rotfl: My carpal tunnel surgery is still hurting so I may just lurk for a while. I enjoy your writing style you put so much of your personality into it.:cutie:

I hope you are feeling better soon! :goodvibes

OH yea, I forgot to mention that your comment about the creepy kids staring at you the whole time in your room made me crack up bigtime :lmao:

I'm glad you made it to the halloween party even though you were tired. It looked like fun!

I really envy you guys who go and enjoy the atmosphere to the fullest. I would so love to do that (Especially in March!)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your concern. I am feeling okay. I was a little careless over the weekend when I went to Oprah's yearly womens seminar on Saturday. You get this gift bag and lots of things from the vendors and I am so much in the habit of picking things up with my right hand I did so without thinking. THat and clapping without thinking. Dork I know.

Ouch! :headache:

Anything fun in the bag??

Well, there were a couple of fun things. Most of it was silly like Dove chocolate, but there was some cool stuff. I got a Suze Orman book, a make over from Loreal Paris. You know make up and skin care. Plus free samples including a new wrinkle cream. Intel had some great stuff. Including this weighted hook that sits on a table to hold your purse. They also gave us bicycle backpacks with things inside like a light up ball point pen, a note pad, a container full of blue and white M&M's. And a travel magnetic dart set, and a document holder. But Oprah gave us canvas bags that are really nice, with an Oprah pen, and a Oprah Journal. There were a few other things that have slipped my mind.

After my exciting adventure in Frontierland I headed over to Big Thunder Ranch (which I know technically is in Frontierland, but whatever). They had the most awesome carved pumpkins!

I wish I could carve pumpkins like this:

Well you did help me with the picture of the napkin...

I thought about covering them or something, but I felt better being able to keep an eye on them. :rotfl:

Wow, sounds like you had a good time! I hope your hand is feeling better, if you need to take some weight off you can go ahead and send me some of that swag! :rotfl:

I'm here!
I loved those pumpkins too. What alot of work. But wouldn't it be fun to be hired on, just for the season. Doing something you loved.

That would be awesome! I wonder how much they make. Hmmmm...:scratchin
Too bad I'm not coordinated enough to carve pumpkins.

For some reason when I was on page 34 of your TR, at the bottom of the DIS page was an ad for Zombie Strippers starring Robert Englund and Jenna Jameson. :rotfl:
Ummm, yeah, that's really family friendly for ya! :rotfl2:

Great pics.

It's 'cause you all accused me of being naked! :lmao:

Today we are all going on a adventure! So grab your imagination and lets go!

Continuing or adventure we find that we are still at Big Thunder Ranch. Looking up we see a sign:

IMG_1132.jpg

We all hold hands and take a step forward and look around in awe and delight. Pumpkins are everywhere, animals run amuck (in cages), fall colors surround us. What an absolutely amazing place we all think to ourselves.

We look to the left and see this guy:

IMG_1139.jpg

We can't figure out why he is so blurry, but we name him Jack.

We continue walking and see an amazing sight. Hundreds of horseshoes all piled up! Where are they from, what are they doing here?

IMG_1155.jpg

Noticing a slight movement we turn our gaze down a little and see a little black bird, crowing on his seat.

IMG_1159.jpg

Deciding to let him be we continue straight on and see a glorious combination of colors and leaves!

IMG_1157.jpg

Walking on we end up at a shack. Not just any shack but the Scare-Dy-Crow Shack!

IMG_1161.jpg

No one is brave enough to go in, so we turn to the right and continue on with the sights. We see a sign that gives us another fright.

IMG_1165.jpg

The Scare-Dy-Crow Shack! Why we were just there, there's no turning back now that we're here. In a hurry we rush to find something happy and cheerful, not dark and scary like that rusty ol' shack.

Walking along we come to another sight, this time it's a sign that brings us delight.

IMG_1167.jpg

Turning around, we look to the left then we look to the right. Where can we see this delight live and inside. Looking straight ahead we find our sight, a stage all set up for the little ones delight!

IMG_1172.jpg

We walk around some more waiting for the show that would never start, so we depart. Taking one more look back at the sign.

IMG_1175.jpg

We say our goodbyes to the Big Thunder Ranch, we will not be returning, at least not tonight.

OK, I have to admit, that was rather fun to write. I hope you don't all think I'm a complete looney now.

Up Next:
Whatever I feel like! ;)

Okay I don't "think' you are looney!:rotfl2:

I'm wondering how many Red Bulls you've had today?? LOL And how I missed that huge pile of horse shoes.

Great update as always!!!!!!!! :)
