Hey guys,

I and my family are not into Halloween at all but we would like to travel up for early November for our last big shabang on our annual pass. We plan to arrive on October 31st because the flight situation is the best ... Is there a lot of Halloween stuff in all the parks or just the magic kingdom? Im guessing people can't be dressed up in the parks unless it's the MNSSHP? Thanks!

In my experience, I have not seen Halloween represented in any other park than MK. That being said, I have not been in any other park ON Halloween, just the week preceding Halloween.

All the parks and resorts will have Halloween/fall décor and the fall decorations will last through Thanksgiving. On the 31st you will see people dressed up at the resorts and Disney springs in addition to the MNSSHP. I would also imagine that kids will be in costumes in the other three parks as well.

Mainly it’s the MK with Halloween decorations. The other parks will have some fall type decor but not so much Halloween. From what I’ve heard, haven’t been there for the process though, HS will transform overnight from fall decor on 10/31 to Christmas on 11/1. MK is a bit slower with the Christmas decor going up gradually over the first couple weeks of November.

I would think it would be hard to avoid all-things Halloween while there on Halloween. But it's not like you'd be forced into dressing up or partaking in any Halloween-related activities. I wouldn't think seeing decorations or people dressed up would impact anybody that doesn't want to participate.

If you hate Halloween you'll want to avoid MK. The other parks usually don't have very much Halloween decor up. Maybe some little things here and there, but MK will be decked out.

The first week of November you will see things converting to Christmas quickly - everyplace but Epcot which doesn’t convert until after food and wine ends.

There is not a Halloween party on Nov 1 this year so if it’s just Thag you are flying on Halloween you should be okay. If you are checking into a Disney Resort ON Halloween day - expect there to be something at the resort Halloween related. It will be one day only.

Yeah I figured people will be doing their thing but that's all good. Thanks to everyone that responded. That's what I wanted to know. Epcot is my favorite anyways. :)
