Originally made one just by improvising with what I had at the time, and it turned out to be surprisingly tasty, so I gave it a name. Based on the poisoned apple that puts Snow White into a sleeping death.
The ingredients you'll need:
-Champagne (Brut or Extra Dry, don't go any sweeter than this)
-Dekuypers Sour Apple Puckers
-Tonic Water (has Quinine, which has glow-in-the-dark properties)
-Dry Ice (pellets preferred, but can buy a block and make appropriate-sized chips)
-Granny Smith Apple slices to garnish
Even though the base spirit is champagne, you won't want to use a champagne glass or any sort of thin wine glass with it due to the tonic cubes and the dry ice. The glass could break from thermal stress. Use something thicker and more durable, like a highball glass. Plastic may be preferred.
1. Start with a shot of Dekuypers Sour Apple Puckers.
2. Pour champagne (3 to 1 ratio). Will have a light green color at this point. Add more Dekuypers depending on the serving size.
3. Add two or three large ice cubes made from Tonic Water. This will give the drink minor glow in the dark properties.
4. Drop in a pellet or two of dry ice. This will not only keep the drink carbonated, but will superchill it and add a hazy layer of CO2 to the top of the drink and will continue to fog for a while afterwords. Be careful not to ingest it; dry ice is heavy and will likely sit at the bottom of the glass, near the straw.
5. Garnish with a Granny Smith apple slice.
6. Go outside and party. Depending on the environment (the lighting and such), the final concoction will glow a light shade of green and fog should be slowly pouring out from the top.
This is a moderate drink at around 15% alcohol content, or 30 proof. Consume with care, stay hydrated, and always be on the hunt for a kiss from Prince Florian.
