Halloween Question from a Brit

Hey,
I'm coming over to Orlando from 28th Sept to 12th Oct and I'm wondering when do you guys put up your Halloween decorations?

Over here Halloween isn't a big deal but I love it!! It's a bit of a dream of mine to see all the houses decorated but with going home a couple of weeks before I'm not sure I'll get to see it!

I don't know about Orlando, but in New England, where I live, people decorate a couple weeks before. Not everyone decorates. Some go all out, some just put up a few things.

If you're going to WDW, it'll be all decked out. I believe they start decorating in early September for the Not So Scarry Parties.

If you're really looking for a scary good time during Halloween...make sure you check out Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. It's the most fun you'll have anywhere in Orlando...if you like being scared.

Same here for the most part. It seems no one really decorates the way they used to when I was a kid.

Yeah I'm doing both HHN & MNSSHP Can't wait for them & to see the decorations at Magic Kingdom!

Just wanted to see what "real Halloween" looks like if you know what I mean. I'd LOVE to see New England at Halloween, over here we all think it's exactly like in Hocas Pocus

Make sure you come over to the Universal board and post your dates so you can see who else is coming that night. We often have mini-meets in the Stay & Scream area.
