Yeah Laurie that is pretty much what I planned on doing. With 9 in our party and it being a super busy holiday weekend I figured we are def going to have to make ADRS for a lot of the meals. Probably most days we will do our own thing for breakfast and just the one character meal although I will let them decide if they want to do anything else. It might be fun to do carnation cafe one day. LOVE that place for breakfast!! And lunches will probably also be on the fly as well but def if we want sit down dinners we will HAVE to make ADRS with that big of a group. Like I said I am also looking forward to an evening with just the grownups!!! They have a 19 year old who can watch all the kids so we can go out and maybe even go dancing or something. Really looking forward to that!!!
If nothing else though drinks at Trader Sams and a nice dinner somewhere!!
But anyway I think my main concern is that we are early risers and like to get up and get stuff done and I am not sure how they do things since at swim they usually get there later. They have a 6 year old and usually don't show up to the meets till later. So I told Shane that if need be we will just have to meet up with them cuz ESP during that busy holiday weekend if you don't get there early and get FP's esp you won't be doing anything later!!![]()
Kelly, I'd explain to the family that eventhough it's a vacation.....it's super important to take advantage of the smaller crowds at opening. With the holiday weekend as well......you'd be crazy to sleep in. If they know that going into it, and they decide to sleep in.......at least you tried to steer them in the right direction. I'd definitely go & tell them to text you when they show up. BUT....you might find out they're up & raring to go too!!!!!
