I'm actually in the process of reading your massive TR from last summer... I just started it yesterday so it will be awhile before I get through it!

I like the matching shirts/ears idea. I think cause we are going partly for our anniversary we were going to get bride and groom hats and possibly t-shirts and go as 2nd time honeymooners.

That would be very cute!!

I've seen Disney shirts that look like the bodies of characters & your head becomes their head (if that makes sense).....I figured we could then add the ears, hat, etc to finish off the look. Probably can do this somewhat affordably.

Then just add in the goofy hat (which we already own)

This is what my friend and I did. She was Goofy and I was Sorcerer Mickey. All night I was referred to as "Boss" lol. Captain Jack asked why I had fired him lol.

That Goofy shirt is cute. I haven't seen that one before, the one I saw was just the orange shirt with the Goofy name tag and I told DH he should wear a pair of jeans and we could put a patch on them with the ears. Goofy is DH's favorite character but i think he wants to do a couples costume...Too bad Goofy doesn't have a girlfriend . I looked at daisy but after 4 kiddos the costumes I have found are extremely skimpy and just would not look right with my body. Now dopey or one of the other dwarves would be doable!

I like dressing up, but can't see pouring a ton of money into doing so. If we can find a cheap way of doing it, we'll do it. Right now only the kids have costumes.......but still time to work out all the details.

I totally missed the moving part before. Where was I? But, with all that has gone on I guess I have a good excuse.

There is also Children's Hospital in Oakland too, they are a good facility.

I won't lie, I am thrilled at the thought you might be closer to us!!

I think I mentioned it on Janelle's FB page & Kelly noticed it......so that's where it came from!!

We've always wanted to move south, but money has never been there.....if (and that's a BIG if) we can get our adoption credit before summer's end......I think we'll do it. Might be our only chance to totally uproot. We're looking the Sacramento area.......but we just will have to wait to see if this will play out like we'd like.

Did you see my invite for you to come over on Sept 30 to Roseville to join us for dinner. We're getting together with a few families that night. We're staying in Roseville on our way down to DL.....of course if we move down....that will all change. I hope we'll still get to do our trip (it would depend on where Mike ends up working).

Getting closer would be super!!!!!!

Have you thought about the Woodland area? It is closer to UC Davis and last I knew wasn't as bad.

We haven't set in stone the area we want yet. Been looking Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, etc. I'll go check housing in Woodland next.

That's right......sorry.......my head is throbing & remembering my name has been a struggle the last few days. I totally forgot the twins birthday is tomorrow.....haven't given it any thought at all. Mike works, so we might put it off until Friday (he's off) but really, the girls don't understand it anyways. Just need to figure out what to get them!!

I am looking at what I said and I confuse myself. I meant the drive wouldn't be as bad. As far as expenses goes Vacaville, Winters and Dixon are where I would look for cheaper.

Don't really have anything planned or bought yet.....Mike works 10-7 today.....but he's off tomorrow & the girls don't have school.....so will probably take them out to a park (since we actually have sunshine!!). We can't do cake or ice cream....but we'll figure something out.

Gonna go shopping this morning once I get them on the bus for school & Mike leaves for work. Gonna try & find them some outside toys!!

My oldest daughter and i were looking at one of your trip reports last night from when they were two or three and my daughter fell in love with the pictures of your girls. She said they have the most gorgeous eyes and long eyelashes. My DD absolutely loves little kids and wants to be a teacher. She has been stressing about her finals and your beautiful girls put a huge smile on her face. So thank you for sharing your family! I hope you are feeling better, headaches are the worst !

Just popping in to say that I love Woodland! It's such a nice little town, not too far from Davis or Sacramento. I wouldn't mind living there at all. Especially since they got a new costco and it's never busy!

West Sacramento is also a growing area that is close to both Sac, Davis and Woodland. We have lived in West Sac for 6 years and LOVE it there!

West Sacramento is also a growing area that is close to both Sac, Davis and Woodland. We have lived in West Sac for 6 years and LOVE it there!

Thanx for the information!! We're still figuring out if this can happen, but I've got my fingers crossed & any info from people that know the area is extremely helpful.
