Halloween Party

I am a WDW veteran but a DL novice. We will be arriving at DL Oct. 3-6 and I see on the calendar that the Halloween Party nights will be in full swing. If the DL Park is closed early on certain nights for the party, does DCA remain open? I’m rethinking about upgrading to parkhopper passes if we have to leave DL by 6:00 pm. We weren’t planning to get the Halloween Party tickets so I’d like to just hop over to DCA for the evening if it remains open on the same nights of the party.

Yes, DCA remains open on party nights. I hear it does get a little crowded during those times, though.

Plan on DCA being more than a little bit crowded. Party ticket holders can hop to DCA for 3 hours prior to the start of the party, then as everyone without party tickets hops over to DCA, it gets really crowded, like 60 minute wait on Little Mermaid crowded.

As the PPs have said, DCA will remain open for its normal operating hours, but being a Wednesday, it's possible that DCA will close fairly early (e.g., around 8:00 pm).
