Is anyone else having - or going to - a halloween party this weekend??
If so what are your plans? What costume are you wearing? Is there a theme (other than halloween of course)?

We are having a party on Saturday so this week will be spent getting everything ready. :goodvibes

First job for me today is to turn the downstairs loo into a dungeon :woohoo:
Time to get my creative haed on

No plans for a going to a Halloween party this year Kenny, but looking forward to hearing all about yours, please post some photos for us to see when you have it:goodvibes

Having a party type thing, party food with a cob webs in corners and spiders on table. This week trying to make
Haunted gingerbread house

Cheerios pumpkins (marshmallows mixed up with cheerios shaped in pumpkin)

Chocolate covered apples

Halloween pizza cheese n tomatoe with pepper making pumpkin shapes, olive for eyes

All ideas from Disney family fun site or betty crocker.

No theme however DD dressed as charm school witch

One year I want to have a halloween party but sadly don't have the room at the moment. Looking forward to seeing photos Kenny.

No Plans for us, have a fab party, cant wait to see your photos :goodvibes

Well the dungeon is now complete :thumbsup2

Unfortunately I have been told I am not allowed to post any pics yet as it may spoil the surprise for those that are coming so you will have to wait til party day :goodvibes

Tomorrows task will be making sure all the gazebos will fit down the driveway. The plan is to put 3 of them together and have them decorated to look like a walk through graveyard/forest type thing (I may be making that bit up as I go along :rolleyes1) along with a green light and fog machine. Fingers crossed

We're having a party for the kids at work on Friday :) I work with the toddlers (1 year olds) and they're all dressing up and having party food. I have my witch hat and nose sorted  I think the older kids are doing games like duck apples but mine are a bit young for all that really so I think the costumes and food will suffice! We've had decs up for a week now and I carved the pumpkin for my room today, just a basic face (saving the slightly more complex designs I have in mind for my own 3 pumpkins ;)) The kids loved seeing it lit today :goodvibes I also bought some Halloween cake decorations on eBay so on Saturday I plan to make some creepy cupcakes ready for Sunday night! No party of my own but I still like to get into the spirit :hmghost:

Kenny your plans sound fab...you sound like your big halloween fans:cool1:

We are having a party on sunday....we will be decorating the house....need to dig out the decorations from the attic....thats a scary thought in itself:rotfl:

Started making decorations for our cake....grave stone with a hand comming out of the grave, pumpkins, ghosts and spiders.....

....got the kids costumes.....not sure what I'm going to wear yet:confused3

Sounds as though yours is going to be quite a big affair :goodvibes
I hope you plan on posting some pics of your own.

We certainly are big Halloween fans. In fact Mrs Pegasus made the statement yesterday that she likes Halloween more than she likes Christmas
We are also planning on keeping all the driveway as spooky as possible for the Sunday in case any trick or treaters pop round :goodvibes
As for costumes - we are 'recycling' the ones that we wore for MNSSHP last year, and as we have also managed to get mini versions of the same costumes for the kids from Tesco we will look like a family from the Haunted Mansion. They seemed to go down well last Halloween and most of the people at the party won't have seen them (other than in photos) so I think we'll get away with it ;)

Todays job is to try and make some manequins to put a couple of our old costumes on. I have managed to borrow a dress makers dummy so that may work. I will just have to get creative with the other one. We plan on having them 'guarding' the entrance to the party :thumbsup2

Were having a halloween party actually its getting out of hand re numbers...lol
i told the kids 4- 5 friends each well (5 x 4 = 20)...nope something wrong with my maths as we have 32 kids coming and probably another 10 - 12 or so adults, my daughter never could count!
We was making halloween party bags and sweet cones last night ive only done half but have a whole broom full already (am hanging them on there to store them)
We plan on making pumpkin soup and muffins, having jackets and hot dogs too and the usual paty food, have the job of 40 odd chocolate sweet apples tonight for the bags...fun!

Here are a few pics of DD ready for a Halloween sleepover party :scared1:
