Halloween party ?'s

We are going to the Halloween party on the 26th. We are planning on being in the park around 3:00. (Am I right that you can stay in the park if you have your bands?) Does everyone that stays in the park wait to dress up until they are shuffling everyone out or do you show up at 3:00 all dressed up?

Any other tips on the best way to enjoy the party would be appreciated, this is our first party and really want to get it right!

According to what I was told at City Hall, they don't allow admission with just the MNSSHP ticket until 4:00pm.

On Tuesday, we saw most people (especially children) putting costumes on after they ate dinner, but you could do either and it would be fine! You will not be out of place.

We entered at 1:00 with UPH...brought our costumes...we were in front of castle around 5pm and the special event staff came out and started handing out yellow arm bands to those with MNSSHP tix...around 6pm all rides went for one last time...we started to walk around looking at how they were getting people out of the parks..we ended up behind Cinderella's castle and were directed down the outside path to tomorrowland..there we tried to get out to see what was going on and crossed over the tomorrowland bridge only to be directed back again...it was very organized and orderly..we did a quick change into our costumes then...I would say around 80% of people were in costume in tomorrowland...

we were able to walk on over and over almost every ride...lots of characters with quick lines...candy spots all over...a super parade...

few tips ..get picture very early in the evening, we were very quick at 7:30 pm at small world ride, no wait at all! watch the second parade...get out of tomorrowland as soon as possible, lots of people crammed in there...DO SPLASH MOUNTAIN IN THE DARK!!!!!!

4pm is the earliest you can get in with only your MNSHHP party. So unless you have AP's or UPH I would wait the extra hour. That is unless you were already going to be in another park that morning and are using the same day on the park hopper.

I want to second getting your pictures early. It was one of the first things we did last year and the line was short. Later that evening, the line were long.
