The 10th-14th is Columbus Day week. During that same week last year, MNSSHP was held on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I think you can be pretty sure that it will be held sometime during your stay.
Also, last year the official dates came out, and tickets went on sale near the end of April. I would imagine that it will probably be around the same time this year. HTH!
Columbus Day week was when I was there last year.It was more crowded than in years past but I believe a couple things were the reason for that in 2003.The Fairytale package deal was going on then (buy 4 nights stay 7) and Mission Space and Mickey's Philharmagic had their offical openings the first week of Oct. last year.
Sat Oct 18 was opening day of Food and Wine Festival and Epcot was terrible that day.F&W starts 2 weeks earlier this year so it shouldn't be bad.F&W is best during the week as far as crowds go.Alot of locals come in on the weekends.
We go all the time in Oct.It has become a VERY popular time to visit WDW.The first time I went in Oct. around 10 years ago it was heaven....but the secret's out! It is still my family's favorite time to visit. The crowds are managable especially during the week and the weather is usually ideal!!!
Sounds like I can deal with the crowds. I think we will probably do the food and wine festival, MNSSHP, and the beach as our main entertainment and fill in with rides when it's not so busy it's a hassle. Your info was wonderful. Thanks again.
