hi

so looking at buying tickets for the halloween party - so was wondering if they close the park to everyone but the party ticket holders how do they get everyone out? disney is famous for excellent customer service and can't imagine them going around asking people to leave! how is it managed or is this just a way for disney to get another $59 and have a very crowded park with both ticket holders and non ticketholders??

thanks for all your help!

We went last year to the Halloween Party on Halloween.
As you entered the turnstiles, you were given a band to wear for the party.
The parks were not crowded at all, it was wonderful! When you went to the candy stations, you must have a wrist band to get the candy.
Disney did a fabulous job with the exiting of guests who did not have wristbands.

Once the party starts you will need to show a party wristband to do ANYTHING...enter stores, ride rides, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they were checking wristband to use the bathroom. :rotfl:

thanks so much!!!!!! glad it's not just a way to get extra$$$ - going to order our tickets today! ( and i wouldn't be surprised either if you need a wrist band to use the restrooms:)

I went to the party last year. There was either a 2 or 3 hour overlap when both party guests and non-party guests were in the park. We had left for a short break and then re-entered around 5:30pm, I think. When we re-entered, they had us enter through the right side with our party tickets, while the left side was for exiting only. We were given a wristband when we entered. An announcement was made at official park closing time (I wanna say 6:00 -- I'm sorry I can't remember exactly), and non-party guests were asked to leave, or go buy a ticket so they could stay for the party. Our wristbands were only checked ONCE. We found this to be disheartening, as the party was much more crowded than we were expecting. It made me wonder how many people found a way to stay without paying. We loved the party, but it was MUCH more crowded than our 2 days prior to the party. We just weren't expecting that. It didn't feel like an exclusive event to us. (We went to a Tuesday night party, and our Monday and Tuesday daytime hours felt much less crowded.)
