Halloween Party...go? or dont bother?

Im not sure were to post this, but Im headed to WDW in about a month and Im bringing my DS (6). Has anyone been to the Halloween Party?? Is it worth the extra $$, do the adults get into costumes?
Any input would be great.........Thanks!!!!
