My dh is currently deployed. He gets one week to be home between his training period in NC and his 10 month "vacation" in Afghanistan. He is supposed to be home between the 16th and 23rd of October and we want to spend that time at Disneyland. He will be missing Halloween this year, so we were going to buy tickets for the Halloween Party at Disneyland. The thing is, there is only one date that we could attend, the 17th, which is the day after he is supposed to fly home. We are told the dates are "firm" but you can't really believe anything the military tells you. there is no return or exchange policy for the tickets. Is the party such a "must do" that it is worth risking losing that money if they don't bring him home when they say they will?

I would say YES. It is a whole lot of fun, with a lot of Characters in different costumes, Bands playing, Trick or Treats, etc etc.

The parks are also decorated for Halloween are are very pretty.

yes i would defeintly do it and dont forget take many many pics.
and ty so much and thank your DH for me for serveing our country God Bless America

If you can, I would do it. We're going to be there on the 17th too

sukhakuli in your case I would talk to someone at guest services and explain to them the situation...I dont think its fair, if the military changes his dates on you that you should have to be out the money...I would tell them you are willing to show proof that he is supposed to be home that day and see if they will honor exchanging for another day (if the military changes his homecoming date and if the day you want to go is still open and not sold out) and if it is then would they give your money back...they very well may not but the worse they can say is no and you're no worse off than before...but they have to have something in play for situations like that....
