To think about Christmas decorations. Do you buy wreaths or make your own?

I have holly bushes that are loaded with berries, I always like to make at least one holly wreath.

I also will dis-assemble the ghost, witch and reaper this week-end and use the styrofoam balls to make Kissing Balls.

More parties on the way. Wreath making parties, Kissing Ball parties and the most favorite of the Grandchildren Gingerbread House making party.

Do you have any favorite things you do with your family to make this holiday a special event? Cookies, Wreaths, Tree Trimming, House Decorating? My Grandchildren look forward to these events.

I do decorate a little for Thanksgiving but mostly it cook and eat.

Thinking of Christmas scares me, too much to do!! :)

We have bought and made our own wreaths, it just depends, if something catches my eye, I'll buy it. Our front door wreath is usually homemade.

We do two trees, an articifial one in the livingroom, decorated mostly in gold, white, a soft, frosty green, and very pale pink. The real tree in the familyroom is much more traditional. I'd like to get a small, very small, aftificial tree for my "office", since I spend WAY too much time up here!! :)

I like to bake and freeze lots of cookies for Christmas, but since we have no children, my nieces are nephews are cookie tasters, intead of bakers! :)
