Halloween on the High Seas 10/31/13

It was asked before. This is what we get last year and I think it might be the same this year

We’ll be celebrating Halloween on our ships this year with several themed events, including a costume contest for our adult Guests and a special costume parade for children on the following sail dates:
Disney Magic® – October 20, 2012 and October 27, 2012
Disney FantasyTM – October 20, 2012 and October 27, 2012
Disney DreamTM – October 25, 2012 and October 28, 2012
Disney Wonder® – October 28, 2012

Though not required, we encourage Guests of all ages to bring along their costumes and join in our special Halloween celebration. On the evening of our party, children will receive candy treat bags in their staterooms that they can bring along to the party to collect even more treats. Prizes will be awarded to our adult costume contest participants based on the following categories:
Funniest
Best Group
Most Spooky
Most Original
Most Disney

More information on themed nights, times and locations will be available onboard in the Personal Navigator that will be delivered to your stateroom.

While all Guests are invited to wear costumes, we ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. To avoid any disappointment or delay in the boarding process, we ask that when considering costume options you refrain from bringing toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements, as these items will not be allowed onboard.

Hope that answer your quesions.

Count me in! This will be my 4th Disney cruise. As a group leader, I will have more than 100 deaf guests are coming along with me. You'll see us with using sign language. Disney Cruise is so kind to hire sign language interpreters for us, so they can interpret the show, activities, safety drill, etc so we can enjoy our cruise vacation.

We're going to wear identical costume in the beginning of the cruise - that way we don't have to rush back to our cabins and change clothes for trick & treat events later in the evening.

I don't think we'll do the FE thing because of too many people in my group, but we'll be happy to see you on the ship and say hello! (if you see us with moving hands for sign language - you'll know it's us) ;)

Good to see you here! I was actually wondering if we'd do a separate FE for Deaf group as it sounds really fun.

Thanks, Dopey! I'll have to ask my group and see if they would like to do the FE thing. That would be cool.

Just booked yesterday!!!

We're excited to be coming. It's my oldest's 5th birthday on the 2nd and my youngest's first a few weeks before the cruise. We'll be celebrating two milestone birthdays and Halloween (and a 6th wedding anniversary) all at once.

BTW - I'm so excited about a large deaf population. We've been working with my oldest on her sign language and she's been itching to practice. Here's to hoping she finds a friend aboard! :cutie:

We just booked this cruise!

It's me--Anja and DH Bruce
DS George 14
DS Josh 12
DD Abby 10
DD Anne 7
DD Franny 4

I will turn 45 on Nov 2, our Castaway Cay day. I can't think of a more perfect birthday: Running the Castaway Cay 5K, relaxing on the beach with my family for the day, Remy with my DH for supper. (fingers crossed I can get reservation).

"meet" you all soon.

Hi all we will be joining the insanity for Halloween. This will be our 10th Disney cruise. It will be me (Wayne) and my wife (Lyn). Haven't decided on the FE as of yet, we have done it before and it was a lot of fun. Will be keeping in touch. Hope to see some old faces and make a ton of new friends.

Wayne (Pinman):cool1::cheer2:

Hello everyone!
This will be our 10th Disney Cruise, and we will be celebrating my DD 4th birthday! My husband Billy and I (Katie) have 2 kids Addison 4, and Lucas 1. Hope to get to know you all!

If anyone is interested in the DIS people sitting together or close together let me know, we have done it on other disney cruises and it was great.

Essentially, all I need is
A) Name
B) your stateroom #
C) your reservation #
D) what dining you have (Early or Late)
I will need this by least August because i have to notify DCL.
you can post it or send me a PM.
could you put October or halloween because i am working another cruise and don't want to mix them up. Thanks
Wayne (aka Pinman)

That's GREAT! I'm sure your child will find plenty of friends on this fun ship. Our group will eat at Early dining and then head toward the theater for the nightly broadway show. If you're going to the broadway show and see our interpreters by the stage, you could sit near us, so your child will be able to see our interpreters.

Is anyone going to be staying at Disney before the cruise? We are staying at Animal Kingdom, if anyone is, let us know and maybe we could meet for dinner the night before the cruise. Wayne:confused3

Ok, all we need to know is where we want to meet up, my suggestions are Cape May, Ohana's, Coronado Springs (Pepper Market), Chef Mickey's or Be Our Guest. But if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. We could do a quick service. We have to remember that dining inside a park requires a park ticket. If it is a place needing a reservation we should know by April 30th so we can make reservations. Let me know who wants to go and the number in your party. :dance3:
Is anyone interested in doing a FE?:confused3
Wayne

Yes and yes :-) beside Cape May and Ohana are okay for us, as we are going there with others the days before.

FE would be great, count us in.

Greets from Germany
