Halloween offering to replace PTN package at BB

Apparently the PTN package is going to be replaced with one to go with the new Halloween parade. Looked on the BB page and the link was there - not sure if its live yet though.

Just note that a valid ticket for Mickey's Halloween Party will also be required. What I'm curious to know is when will the reservation time start (e.g., at the start of the party, so either 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm, scattered throughout the evening, or is a fixed meal time - like last year's Mystic Dining event)?

i just got BB ressie for halloween party night at 5:10pm -- second option was 3:45pm

Me too...I posted this on the October and Halloween boards...

FYI ALERT!!! I just booked BLUE BAYOU dinner special for party night on 10-12 for 5:10pm, special package. I'm not even sure what it entails, but I assume it's like the PTN package and not the Mystic event they had last year so I jumped on it.

WOC and Plaza inn not available yet, but the Blue Bayou was open!

It looks like it might have been a test. I saw where there were dining reservation times available after 5:10 pm on MHP nights (select nights, not all) with information about those reservation being during a "special ticketed event". However, that information is no longer listed and now if you click on a MHP date, the only times that you can search for are during lunch. Hopefully that means more information will be coming soon and reservations will open!

I still have my reservation in "my reservations", but as figment said, the reference and links are all gone again...wow...I hope I get to keep my perfectly timed reservation.

I just opened up BB and I saw that the latest option was for 3:30 so I clicked on 3:30 and then did a search for reservation times and low and behold there it was-5:10 Mickeys Halloween Party Diner package.

Yea for me and Yea for the Dissers who posted their success and prompted me to try it!

Edited to add: I don't know the price or the menu so I'll keep my other BB res until I find out for sure.

Glad its working for everyone-who would have thought searching the 3:30 res would pop up the 5:10 special dinner reservations.

Wow! I'm so glad I was able to make my reservation last night ( thanks again @Kindermouse !) The earliest reservation for my night is now 6:40pm. I like 5:10 much better!

Sounds like you got your reservation, but for others, try selecting 5:00 pm as the search time rather than "Dinner" from the drop down. I noticed that "Dinner" seems to default to times around 6:30 pm or there about (and might only show you one time), even if other times are available.

For example, I used 9/26 (Monday) as a test and put in "Dinner" in the search box and it offered me a 6:50 pm reservation. When I put in 5:00 pm, it offered me 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. There was also a 5:10 pm and 5:20 pm that came up depending on what search time I entered.

I was just able to book for October 26th even though the park hours are not up yet. Hopefully we will be able to see the menu soon!

I wonder if this is going to be a direct copy of the PtN packages (e.g., same preferred viewing area and same menu) or if things will be different...also, I wonder if guests will have to get their wristbands before going to the reservation or if they'll be a way to get the wristbands at the Blue Bayou for guests with reservation times before the party starts.

Slightly annoyed again. Search for a reservation for 1 - nothing comes up. Searching for 2 works. Exactly the same issue as with the Facilier event last year.
