Halloween night?

We changed our trip plans a little so we will be arriving on Halloween afternoon. If we do not buy tickets to the party--do the resorts or DTD have anything to do?

Also how soon do the Halloween night tickets sell out? Also with the opening of Carsland are there rumored to be any changes to the pary? TIA

OK, I had more time to review the Halloween night information. We are flying in on Halloween afternoon. From last year, it seems DCA was open until 8pm. Do they have any Halloween activities/decoration, can the kids dress up? I know Carsland is the unknown, but will DCA be crowded? or do most people go to the DL party? I am worried the kids are going to be done early with traveling and being on Midwest time--I am not sure about spending money on the party or not pushing it and doing DCA then relaxing at the resort. Do any of the hotels or DTD have Halloween things for the kids? I know they only sell a limited number of tickets but how crowded is Halloween night on a Wednesday? Any feedback would be appreciated!

I believe kids up to 9 can dress up at Disneyland/DCA...though I don't think anyone would think anything about a 10-year-old dressed up at Disneyland on Halloween. (In fact, I think the rules used to be that kids under 12 could dress up during Halloweentime, but I haven't seen reference to that lately?)

DCA will probably be very busy after the party starts in DL, but Halloween night may be a little different. There will be some Halloween decoration in DCA and probably some promotion for the film Frankenweenie.

I don't know about the answers to your other questions, but I don't know that I'd take kids to the Halloween party on arrival day either!
