Halloween Horror Nights

Can anyone tell me about what the Halloween party is like at Universal?? I am going to be in Orlando for 10 days in October and I was thinking of going but I can't find any info! I found plenty of info about the Disney party but Universal did not give a description of what goes on and what you get at Halloween Horror Nights.

If someone could please fill me in or direct me to a link with info I would be greatful!

Hours: Peak nights (Fri/Sat) 7p-2a
Non-peak 7p-12a


The purpouse is to scare you silly, check out haunted houses, ride rides at night (when some are best), and watch some fun shows.

Is there an additional charge, or do you just use regular park tickets? I am tentatively planning a trip for Oct. 10th am excited that we may be there during this time, it sounds so cool!

you have to buy tickets for a specific date to attend. They were full price at about $52 or we got ours for $38 because we bought the five day consecutive pass at the same time.

You can upgrade tickets you might already hold for a reduced fee depending on whether it's a peak night or not.
I'm a little scared, especially with talk of an Extreme Haunted House, but it does look like fun.
