Hi All,

I'm heading off to the US next month on a business trip. After my conference in Newport, I'm cooling my heels in LA for 4 days before heading home. As I'll be leaving the family behind, and on strict "no Disney" orders, I'm thinking of hitting up USH and 'Halloween Horror Nights' in particular.

Just wanted to know if anyone here has been, and whether it's worth doing.

Thanks.

Firstly, let me join your business!! Anyone that gets to go the USA for work is my idol. :thumbsup2 I am going for the first time in OCT, due to reviews that say it is awesome and actually really scary. My family are all chickens, well the kids are too young, so I will be going solo.

I've been to Halloween Horror nights 3 times in the last two years and if you like scary, then this is fantastic. The haunted houses are huge, themed really well and the scare zones in the streets are also done really well. If you have a choice of days try a Sunday or a Thursday night. Fridays and Saturdays are so crowded and you will wait in such long lines for the haunted houses that there's no way you will have enough time to see them all unless you pay over $100 extra for an express pass.

Have fun and enjoy your trip!:wizard:

Thanks for the replies.

I'm thinking about Sunday the 23rd, so hopefully it won't be too busy then. Whether I go or not probably depends on the freinds I'm staying with in Hollywood. I love all things horror, but not too sure about them. :)

And yes, it's nice to travel for work - I feel quite priveleged.

Does anyone know the prices of HHN Hollywood tickets for someone who owns an Annual Pass to Universal Hollywood? I'm thinking of getting an annual pass, then buying HHN tickets for two days in October as they are discounted, but I can't find the passholder price for either general admission or front-of-the-line passes anywhere. Thanks for any help.
