Halloween Horror Nights meet, October 19!

Hi all! My cousin and I will be at Universal for that weekend - if we do HHN it will be that night! We have the five day passes to IAO and US right now so we can buy the Stay and Scream passes/express passes that day for $21.95, right? She is a FL resident, can she buy two express passes for us at a discounted rate?

Perfect Bump.

I've been posting in RRC with the screen name as
HHNmeetOCT19@IOAstay&screamArea
How about that?

C'mon everyone, it's almost here. Start advertising the event.

robvia (or anyone), if we will be just concentrating on the haunted houses, how important do you think the express passes will be on this night? Also, how much are they for this night?

I believe the express booklet is $20 for non peak night. $35 for peak night. May be wrong, but close.
The booklet also includes a ticket into the Bill and Ted show.

Even on a non peak night, I think the booklet will be a huge advantage worth the money, because last year, on a Thursday (non peak night), the lines we're very long once the crowd showed up around 8pm.

Thanks. We'll have to buy our Stay and Scream/express pass tickets the day of because I already ordered my bonus passes in July.

ps - I NEVER watch horror movies yet somehow I am strangely drawn to this event. :) Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I will have something for the DISers who go. Well, at least 12 of them...

DM, I'm sure that you could "sneak" into the Stay & Scream area.

Most unfortunately, I will be working the Will Call table that night, so if you are picking up your tickets for HHN from there, I'll have the chance to meet you. Otherwise, you guys have a blast.

I went to the employee preview and was quite impressed. Bill & Ted was very funny! Jungle of Doom and Psycho Scareapy were my favorites!

Since they big day of the meet is coming up soon, when and where is everybody going to meet?
Any other IOACentral regulars going to this event as well?

Pork brains and chocolate covered squid have been some of the past "items" exchanged by Dis'ers. Wonder what it will be this time? I am so jealous, I want to go too. NO really I don't. I am too chicken for this meet. But I wish I could come back for MG...:jester: Aloha, have fun and keep warm! :sunny:

I'm going to be there the 17th, Marauder. If I find you, can I get this gift too? :teeth:

-Kevin

I'll try to make it. Rachel and I are trying to arrange our schedules so we can go at least one night. However, I'm clsoing every HHN night, which means I get out of there waaaayyyy after the park is closed. If I can't get the day off, I might be able to get off early and try to run into you all inside the park.

OH, by the way I'd avoid Bill & Ted this year. This comign from the one who is line for the first B&T show at the Employee preview every year. LAst eyar's was funny, but not compared to previous years. This year's was marginally funny. MARGINALLY. I don'ty find stereotypical caricutures of Usama Bin LAden or Sadam Hussein comedic.

I'd have to disagree with the Bill & Ted review. I found it quite amusing and the Osama & Saddam is very funny, especially when you think of how upset they would be with all of the innuendos!

LOL! Have a great time. Wish we could be there.:p

I was thinking about this (and I may regret it)...I will do the Infestation if someone else pays for it. You can even get it on video! The things I do for my video... :)

Infestation is free... plus they give you Express Pass for doing it! We got two from the group last night to do it, just make sure we hang around Infestation around 6:30. They sign 3 people up for the 7 show around then.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into now. :)

Anyway, let's meet at the Alchemy Bar at around 4 so robvia can booze it up. :) Then we will head over to the Stay and Scream area of the Enchanted Oak Terrace. Hopefully, we can buy some Express tickets for those that don't have any.
