I have seen mention of this Halloween Haunts Ball at the Contemporary Resort. What is this? Is it only one night? Can anyone attend, or just guests of that resort? Kids?

Thanks......

This is a hard ticketed event. It cost $99.99 per person and only 999 tickets were sold. This even sold out long ago. I believe it sold out within the first couple of days when announced. This event includes a private dinner buffet at the MK from 8:00-midnight after the park has closed for the night. There are select rides available including the HM. There are other activities included plus an auction. The Contemporary tie in is that there were special rooms available for lodging for attendees. The merchandise has been long selected by the attendees and will be available for US to pick up prior to the event. I chose this event to attend instead of the MNSSHP mostly because of the low attendance. Some of the merchandise includes figurines, art, tee-shirts, PINS, watch, jacket.

That sounds SOOOO neat!!! Is this the first year they have done this? Do you think they will do it again in the future? How did you find out about it?

I hope you have a wonderful time. If you have a chance, I would love to hear your report about it.:D

Bye!

I believe this is the first time ever for this event at WDW. DL has had these events and they are very popular. If it wasn't for boards like this one and dizpins.com I would never know about these happenings at WDW. I'm excited to be part of this event!

i think I saw the info for the Happy Haunts Ball either on the offical disney pin trading site, or Dizpins. I forget, it was back in late June. The event was sold out by july 10.

When was the sign up day? This will get me ready for next year's event.

Thanks

I don't know when they released the info. Now that I think about it, I mailed my check to Event Services around the middle of June. I was in a panic when they posted the event sold out on 7/10 and my check had not been cashed. But I did get in. If it is a success, i hope they do it again next year. As you can tell, I love the HM.

That sounds soooo fun, please do write a trip report - I'd love to hear about it too! One of the managers from our Disney Store here in St. Louis is going down for it.
