Halloween Dinner for Solo

I will be there on Halloween, and was hoping for some suggestions for a fun dinner. I was thinking of Minnie's Seasonal Dinner, but I am a little leery due to it being one of the restaurants on the Fantasmic dining plan.

I don't have any advice on this since I didn't even realize there were special Halloween dinners, but that does sound like a lot of fun! I had assumed that Halloween dinner for me would consist of caramel apples, candy, and other assorted sugar-rush badness while walking around the parks.

Is your concern that the Fantasmic package might make it difficult to get a reservation without paying the upcharge?

I did Minnie's Halloween Dine last year, although actually a few days after Halloween. It was fun meeting the characters in their special costumes, but IMHO the food was just OK, not great. Some standard items had been renamed with Halloween-related names, but I didn't find a whole lot of food items I would consider Halloween-specific.
