Do you think it will be busy? Its Saturday 31st October. Its my bday and would like to spend it there (we're not going to MNSSHP) But dont want to go if its going to be heaving!!!

Thank you! xx

can only give you my experience,as we found it.the 1st time,we went on the 31st,was in 2006.we were attending MNSSHP,but it was also, the only day,we could book breakfast,at the castle,so it was going to be,a long day.however,it was great, because all of the rides, were walk ons.the crowds, were really low.my niece & grandaughter, went on space mountain, about 5 times,on the trot.we all rode splash mountain,4 times.just got off & walked straight back on.we loved the low crowds!
next time,was 2008,although we didn't go,until 4p.m this year,due to the grandsons,being little,but at that time,we walked on splash mountain,haunted house & big thunder.
i would say go & hopefully enjoy,the low crowds.will it make a difference,it being a saturday,this year,i really don't know!

We will be in the Magic Kingdom for the morning of the 31st, but everything I've seen says to leave and do something else in the afternoon as it gets so busy. I'm not sure what to do now if you say it is not the case kieras nana:confused3

Agreed :thumbsup2

We visited MK last Halloween Day, we had ressies @ Crystal Palace for 8am and spent most of the morning in the park up until around 4pm when the crowds certainly started to increase. But yes all the rides in the morning were walk on and quite eerie quiet.

I spoke to one of the CM's in the gift shop next to Splash Mountain on how quiet it was. She explained that it was the same every year. She said that because its a seperate ticket event, the general public are not normally willing to pay for a one day ticket knowing that they are to be "kicked out" for the MNSSHP, also people with party tickets cannot enter the park till 4pm resulting in low crowds :cloud9:

We are planning on visting MK three times during our October trip, once the day of a MNSSHP, but not attending the party, one day to make sure we catch Spectro and Wishes and then a further visit for MNSSHP. :cool1:
