EMMA: Our holiday season begins with Thanksgiving--the end of November. Food, family and friends--like Christmas only no presents and not celebrating Jesus' birth.
As far as Christmas is concerned, I am not sure about anyone else, but so many people in my family live far away that we have to get started on Christmas early because we have to mail things. I also like finding bargains after Christmas to save for the next year. When I have all year to shop I can find things more suited to each person.
GINGER: Congrats on finding the special Christmas item !

presumably for the special kid. Best wishes to Ashley as she investigates new learning opportunities.
RORY: There are several WELCH families in the area. I do not know a kid by that name, but wouldn't it have been neat if I had met her Mom at some time?
ESTELLE: If Phil had taken your picture on Halloween, there would have been no tropical island behind you either--we were in the middle of the Sea at night. No problem for me--I just want to put it in the scrapbook! I am putting the prints of the other pictures in your Birthday card and will mail it in the morning.
Except for Estelle in her costume, I think the scrapbook is done. I am so tickled with it and had a great time doing it.
I am feeling better from this flu. My head is less stuffy and I cough less. I did not see any patients on Wednesday which was probably good as running a few errands wore me out.
I am glad Disney is taking this virus thing seriously rather than trying to pretend it did not happen. I know I did not get it because I did not have an upset stomach and I didn't get sick until we had been off the ship over two weeks.
Have a super day,
Jan
