halloween cruise/ Magic: October 28th-nov..4th 2006

Kristen.....it was not really crowded at either park. It rained most of the day at MK so that helped keep people away also.

Just got back from shopping, the mall was packed. Hope you had a good weekend.

Just showed Dh your pictures and he really like them...makes us want to go down for Christmas one year..Maybe not next year maybe the year after.....


Went shopping today too and the stores were packed lines everywhere..broke down and got he kids the talking cinderella vanity and matching wardrobe and two amazing amanda dolls that were one hundred dollars each...No more buying for these kids they are way to spoiled but it is our own doing...he he...

Hope everyone else is finally done and has it all wrapped...just think this time next year we will have all gone and come back from the cruise already.....God willing...!!!!!!!!

What parent, on these boards can't say THIS??????? So don't feel bad, just join the club. Kelly and Steven have taken 5 (!) Disney cruises since 6/2002! And, they are booked on 2 more.........Let's just hope they have no plans of going to college.......or let's hope they don't mind if Dave and I spend our retirement years living in their homes.

All our shopping is done.......but I may spend my afternoon at the mall while Kelly is at practice this afternoon, just so I can sit and sip my mocha latte and people watch.

Today is first day of Christmas break for my kids. We've had a nice relaxing morning so far. I think I'll take them to see Wallace and Gromit this afternoon. It's at the 2nd run theatre now, so it'll be a cheap day.

--about the gingerbread men--

I made those gingerbread men several years ago, and decorated them with white fabric paint that comes in a bottle. I just outlined them with the paint (which looks like icing), made dots for eyes and nose and three little dots for buttons. They really look like cookies, and I've used them as ornaments on our tree for years. Every year when I unpack them, they still smell great.

The polar express party sounded really cute. My ds's fifth grade class even watched it at their Christmas party at school. And I LOVE Josh Groban's song Believe on the soundtrack!

Oh I sooo hear you with that...But who cares..It is all ofr hte love of kids....

I enjoy going to the mall and watching the people too....Tomorrow the twins have preschool and then I am coming home and starting my cleaning....
My parents are moving out into their condo today...So I am happy it was hard with four adults living in one house.....

Wow they are out already...The twins still have school tomorrow...so I can get a jump on the cleaning and organizing for the holiday...I have to make room for more toys...

DONE baking.....DONE buying......DONE wrapping!! Yeah! Now I finally get to enjoy the season, since all of the stress is out of the way.

Keeping my fingers crossed....they are predicting warmer temperatures this weekend. They are calling for 40's, and at this point.....that would feel like summer!

I am done toooo...Dh and I are having a glass of wine tonight.. and looking at our tree right now....sooo pretty...

Not sure what the weather is going to be here does not look like snow though....

Oh fran I so hear you but the bad part is I can never work out again.....I had a collapased lung three times this past winter..in jan...feb and march.. and had twenty percent of my lung taken out... so for me exercise is out....

Funny..........I've been off this whole week, but just didn't feel the "baking bug" bite this year. Actually, everyone my family, except for me, prefers the dough, so I could just skip the baking part, and just put out a big bowl of dough. Dave would be very happy with that!
