We're trying to think of costumes to wear to MNSSHP. All together we'll have 6 adults and 4 small kids ages 4, 3, 2, and 15 months. Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone else figured out what they're wearing? Please share! I won't copy! ;)

How about the ten little indians or various characters from the Wizard of Oz....the kids could be the munchkins!

Have a great time!

We went as the Justice League last year....I know..it's not Disney but the CMs really liked it! I was Bat Girl, Hubby was Green Lantern, Daughters were Wonder Womand and Super Girl. The year before we went as The evil Queen from Snow White, Grumpy and Snow White, with the baby as the poisoned apple. So...you have 10 people total...how about bowling pins with the little one as the ball? I haven't even thought about this year yet...my oldest daughter usually picks the theme.

Why don't you go as the seven dwarfs? ...minus one. lol

I like this idea. Everyone wants to be Dopey. Let the 15month old be Dopey!

Or -- you could all be dalmations, the 2 boys could be the 2 thieves from the movie and the baby (hopefully it's a girl..?) could be cruella.

I don't get the whole 7 Dwarf thing minus one....The OP stated there are 6 adults and 4 children which equals 10 not 6?????

I thought she was just addressing the 6 adults as playing the dwarfs -- not mentioning what the kids could go as.

I was just thinking of costumes, there will be myself, dh, bil and 5 sons. I could be snow white and have my 7 dwarfs! but they all deserve to be Dopey! :lmao:

I'll be going as Cinderella ... I'm having a Custom Dress made to look like hers, but it's not going to be Floor Length, only about Knee Length. Tiara, and a BBB appointment to boot!

My Best Friend is going as Belle ... I'm having a Custom Dress made for her too, though she hasn't told me if she wanted a Floor Length Dress or not. Probably not, Lmao.

You didn't mention when you were going. Bear in mind that even if you go later in the year it still may be HOT. We went down at the end of October last year and it was still pretty hot and humid. I was seriously worried it would be too hot to wear our costumes as they had long sleeves. We loved the party and would like to do it again someday.

Alice in Wonderland characters! My family of three went as Queen of Hearts (me) The Mad Hatter (DH) and Alice (DD3) last year.... It was awesome!

I'm going to list my Queen of Hearts costume on Ebay one of these days. It was the one from the Disney Store but I modified it by taking out a bunch of the heavy tulle and I added thick satin ties at the back of the waist for a cinching effect (it was very unflattering without!).

That was OT, huh? :rotfl2:

The others in your party could go as the rabbit, the playing cards, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum... there's lots of choices! :)

My DS uses a wheelchair. Here is his costume we used last October 31, 2006 for MNSSHP. First time he was happy to use wheelchair, He got so many compliments and people kept asking to take pictures.....

InFact we used all velcro to secure it together. His Teacher Assistant drew the planks, nail, port holes and achors!

Guest relations...they were awed with it. He was giving vouchers to pick two Halloween trading pins for up to $30 value. He was given extra candy and two balloons to boot. At POC he was given this bird toy filled with pirate loot....It started a whole lot of good for him!

My DD5 and DH and I will be going October 18 to the MNSSHP. DH says he won't dress up, but I've been wracking my brain on something he could fit in as if DD and I do dress up and he can wear some sort of t-shirt or something small of a costume. I know it will still be somewhat warm then, but anyone have any ideas with t-shirts or something and then DD and I can do some sort of mask or something else? :thumbsup2

I think we should start a thread with family past photos of their costumes for MNSSHP! I love to see people's creativity! :wizard:

I'm trying to get my husband to go along with David and Victoria Beckham! I think this would be a riot. Spray his hair blond (he already has the 5 oclock shadow), Beckham jersey etc. Me, blond short wig and big glasses, black mini dress! Fun!
