Halloween Costumes for sale in September?

Hey guys

I'm so excited as I booked tickets for the NSSHP when we are on vacation in September. My DS who will be 13 months will of course need a costume and I was wondering if they will be selling Halloween costumes this early? I want to get one when I get to the US as the ones in the UK are not up to much!

Does everyone dress up? As I would love to dress up too but didn't want to look a complete fool! My husband has just stated that he will only stretch to a scary Tshirt so I will need to buy one of these too!! Where is the best place in Orlando to get a fab costume from. We are staying in the Disney area but will have transport whilst we are there.

Most places start selling them in August or September, you should have no problem finding one. I know that the Disney Store usually starts selling them before the kids go back to school, which is late August (used to be early September). It's a bit sad, I was driving by a party store yesterday and they were already advertising costumes!

Also, a lot of people dress up, with most people if their kids dress up, they dress up. Many families dress up as characters from a movie to match, you could do a really cute mother-son thing with your DS.

We have gone to the world the last two years for the first week of Sept. I have always been able to buy my dds costumes before we go at the Disney store so you should be fine if they continue the trend.
