Halloween Candy Question

Heck yeah, why even ask this question and why would your husband object? Honestly, when you move into a new area, if you don't follow the traditions, pretty soon you have no friends. I paid $2.35 a bag for my candy at the grocery store. I wouldn't even discuss this with my spouse. We don't talk over every tiny little detail and this IS a tiny,little detail. High school students around here get into costumes and Trick or Treat. My son is a junior. He and his friends went as Marvel Comics heros. Their costumes were wonderful. I didn't have to lift a finger or pay for anything.
