I have a baby boy named Jack and we want him to be Jack Jack from the Incredibles for Halloween...however, the cheapest I can find the costume is on Ebay for $70!!!! Really??? Anyone know where I can score this costume in a 12m size? TIA....we really want this for MNSSHP in October!

Jack will look wonderful in any kind of costume and could care less at that age. Save your money for when he's big enough to be particular and find something cheap and terrific at Goodwill for this year.

JMHO.

"I used the Pj pals from the Disneystore. they were cotton- but looked great. and very comfortable."

Those would be perfect! Believe me, I don't want to spend very much at all...just thought it would be cute since he will be about 11 months at Halloween and his name is Jack!

When my oldest DS was 4 he wanted to be Dash. My younger DS was only 7 mo. old so I wanted him to be JackJack. I made his costume. I bought a cheap red bodysuit & a cheap pair of red sweatpants. I then copied the incredible symbol onto the bodysuit & used fabric paint (black & gold) to do the symbol. I also got a mask for him somewhere. It was easy & cute!:)

We have a "Jack" too... We've done Jack-in-the-box, Jack-O-Lantern... when he was too little to protest :rotfl2:

My husband and I were just discussing these options this morning as well...:rotfl:

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

You could buy him a red t-shirt and then Iron on the incredibles logo. I bet you could even find him a red one piece outfit.

I checked ebay and there were a ton of incredibles iron-ons available for around $2-$3 each.

Check your local thrift store when the put them out as well.

Wow! $4 vs. $70.....not much to decide on there~! :thumbsup2

My boys have re-used costumes or gotten hand me downs, OR we have used those hooded towels.....we have a few we have gotten as gifts and used.

I used the Pj pals from the Disneystore. they were cotton- but looked great. and very comfortable. My daughter wanted to be violet one year. She just wore the pj's.
I'll check around and see if I still have my little guys pj's. -
This is what I am talking about

I made a Violet costume one year for DD10 (she was about 6 at the time), and it was pretty easy. I am the least crafty person you will ever meet. I really like the pj idea, though!

DD6 wants to be Silvermist this year. I guess I need to start thinking about that!

the woman who works with my SIL came all bruised and battered looking...she had a black eye and all kinds of torn clothes and purple bruises and she carried a pail.....No one knew who she was until she said I'm Jill after she fell down the hill! LOL :rotfl2:

Are you and your husband going to dress up and Mr. & Mrs. Incredible? Just wondering because I was thinking of doing this with my DH. We are going to a Halloween party and the theme is superheros. Which I find odd, because shouldn't the theme just be Halloween? :rotfl2:
