We will be arriving on Halloween and I'm wondering if the resorts do anything like trick or treating or anything else for the kids? My little one is worried she will miss out on trick or treating. I know they used to do it at DTD but I don't think they do anymore. We will be staying are CBR. We have done MNSSHP 4 times and DH doesn't want to shell out the $300 to do it again so that's not an option. Thanks in advance!

Halloween decorations start going up in the Magic Kingdom in late August (generally before Labor Day weekend) and are complete in time for the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Another fun Halloween option is the Haunted Carriage Rides.

If you are staying at one of Disney’s resorts over Halloween, ask the front desk concierge whether any special events are planned. Frequently the resorts do offer some kind of festivities.

Downtown Disney offers live entertainment such as music, storytelling, a dance party, stilt walkers and/or magicians on Halloween. Trick-or-treating was eliminated as of 2011.

I got the above information from the Mousesavers Walt Disney World special events page. Hope it helps!

Thank you Libmom333! I sure do hope they do something special...you'd think that just being in Disney would trump trick or treating lol but no she still wants to do it..
