halloween at disneyland?

hi

so was wondering what is there to do if you can't go to the mhp? will there be a special parade or is that limited to the mhp? and will villians be walking around?

basically what can i expect at disneyland if i don't go to the mhp

If you can't attend the MHP, make sure to get a hopper ticket so you can go to DCA while the party is going on. They show Paint the Night during MHP, so you can see the same parade on a non MHP night.
Some villains will be walking around, but not all that are available during the party. Last week I saw Jafar and the Evil Queen during non MHP hours.

If you are asking what is there halloween themed besides the party this time of year, there are a bunch of pumpkin decorations mainly at the entrance, town square, and mainstreet. Space mountain is themed as ghost galaxy, haunted mansion is themed as nightmare before christmas. A few halloween themed treats you can buy at various locations, halloween balloons. I saw cruella and jack skellington in addition to the evil queen walking around and stopping for photos a few weeks back.

thanks! we're going on a sat when the mhp is not scheduled - will the parade /fireworks be halloween themed if the mhp is not scheduled? and if you do go on a day when there is the mhp do they kick you out before the party starts if you don't have a ticket?

No, the parade is not themed at all for MHP this year, it's the same Paint the Night parade whether there's a party or not. Halloween fireworks are exclusive to the party, on non-party days it is the same 60th Disneyland Forever display.

If you go on a MHP day, when the party starts CMs will direct you to the exits and won't let you join the queue for any attractions if you don't have tickets. If you're in line for a ride or seated for dining when the party starts you'll be allowed to ride or finish eating first.
