Has anyone been there for Halloween? Do they do anything special at the Resort, or will we have to go off site?

We wil be there also. I saw something on You tube where they had a special show with some candy and stuff but I am wondering if it is going to happen since they got rid of their nightly show. I figure it is Disney they have to know how to treat Halloween, but the lack of information is making me nervous.

We are at Aulani now. We saw Mickey and Minnie, dressed in Halloween costumes taking pictures with guests. I also saw a truckload of pumpkins on the H1 on Monday. Large cartons fully loaded. It seemed out of place on a tropical island.
Then we saw an ad on TV for a local farm having a pumpkin festival with games and 'pumpkin picking'! This is something that I am used to at home (Long Island, NY) not in the tropics! But we also have seen ads for pumpkin spice pancakes at IHOP and similar offerings at other chains. Not as many as at home.
