In the USA, planning starts now and kids start telling parents what they want to go as (and change their minds 50 times until October 31).

Well, school resumes in the district I live in next week, so for all intense purposes, summer is over for kids. Town 50 miles from her, the public schools went back LAST week.

I still enjoy summer, and I’m not ready for it to end. But I love the anticipation of Halloween. Nothing wrong with adding a bit of orange and black to your summer celebrations.

I know it is still summer, but October is one of my favorite months! Bring on the cooler weather and pumpkin spice! As far as Halloween costumes, Catwoman (I actually never saw the movie), but I found a costume so I am all set. Gotta love thrift shopping!
