Aside from the fact that Dreams has been confirmed to be on every day, has there been anything else confirmed to be happening/not happening during the Halloween Season?

It's my first time going during Halloween and I'm a very excited panda! :lmao:

No more info afaik at the minute. Last year Goofy was in main st (town square) with his candy machine in the morning and the Villains did meets at the back of the Castle. We got stickers and activity sheets for the kids and the show at the Castle stage was good fun for the little ones. We are wracking our brains but cant remember if there was anything else sorry.

Wasn't there a Halloween mini parade too?? We're there actual Halloween and for the party - interesting to see what they announce as they've hinted enough!! Keeping an eye on the Ambassador's for info!!

My little Pumpkin and I are going to be there over Halloween itself and have also booked tickets for the Halloween Party. I'm hoping more gets annouced soon! :goodvibes

What site(s) should I be keeping an eye on for information on Halloween events? We're planning to be there on Oct. 31 (our very first trip to DLP!) and we're planning to buy tickets to the party that night, so this is definitely of interest to me!

Jack & Sally did meets the entire season, on Halloween night (don't know if this was through the entire season) there was a Princess and the Frog fireworks/music show on the Molly Brown boat.
Dreams was on 2 times, once before all regular visiters had to leave at 6pm, and at midnight for everyone with Halloween tickets.

I do remember characters in special outfits, I think they came from the train (which is now the 20th anniversary train).

I was informed there will be a daily cavalcade during Halloween, bit like the one they had at Christmas but NO Mickey's Treat in The Street this year.

Buy them in advance - you won't be able to get them on the night as they sell out x

such a disappointment :(

We also have tickets for Halloween party, fingers crossed for nice surprises :)

Not wanting to sound ungrateful, but I just think I'd have preferred a show over the calvacade. DLP is just so much in need of a new show! :(

Cant believe Disney are canceling ANOTHER show :(

I am a massive DLP fan, been there 11 times in 4 years - expensive hotels - Castle Club again in October - and always a great defender of DLP. But this is just crap :( not one single show all year????? Who on earth makes these decisions???? I wish they would at least publicy announce the reasons and rationale behind it all and leaving it till September to announce anything? Seems like they want to get everyone booking and paying before the announce how crap it is going to be - So much for Mr Gas making statements about DLP wanting to "own" halloween and christmas

Its all turning into a bit of a joke lately:mad:

Too be honest they are designing brand new floats for the Calvacade so we can't have it all. Also Treat in The Street has been running for 2 years so it was time for a change and incorporate something new into Halloween for this year.

Sadly DLP are not able to please everyone.

The Soiree has lots of live entertainment which last year was lots of fun!

I realise that money only goes so far and DLP cant please everyone but ....but not one single show for one whole year?? This is the first time in DLP history that this has happened. Just shoddy I think.

Agreed. Is there no MNSSHP?

They didn't have them last year either. R

Remember we have Dreams and the long awaited Ratatouille ride.....the cut back have to come from somewhere.

I'm still miffed at no Fantillusion or Tarzan, or Lion King.....but I'm glad the hub was finally removed and those awful shows are gone!!

:sad2: Nope, just the halloween party on the 31st itself. Not even any terrorfic nights in the WDS studios this year.

I know that DLP have to make cut backs to cover the costs of the extended running for dreams, but I really think they're shooting themselves in the foot by not having any shows on for the whole year. All that empty space, going to waste - not to mention that shows are a great way of spreading out the crowds during busy seasons. :sad2:[

I must admit, I booked for Halloween off the back of the press release from the shareholders meeting regarding it being the best Halloween season ever (or words to that effect!). So I am feeling a little delated after hearing what's being planned. Let's just hope there's more to it than that!

Me too. If it hadn't been for the press release I'd have waited for early November and done a Christmas trip.
Its what you make it for sure but it just seems like theres a huge lack of common sense - look at the Critters Corral / Old Chapparal / Woodys Round Up area, such a waste :( ::yes::

Aside from getting to the frontierland station and/or cowboy cookout, that area is completely redundant now ! They couldn't even keep the characters at cowboy cookout to ease the pain slightly lol
