Hallmark Steamboat Willie--who has one?

I got the lights up on my "disney" tree and noticed the half of the strand with Steamboat Willie on it did not work. Now Willie sat in his Hallmark box all year long, no jostling, etc., and worked last year. I just tried him in a different, working set of lights and he killed that strand as well. I think he is deceased. I mean I can still put him up, but I thought I'd get more than one year of music and movement with him for $24!
Does anyone else have this ornament, and are you having any problems? If you don't have your tree up yet, let me know when you put it up if he is working.

I have that one It seems like I did have some issue with it one year, but I don't recall just what. I'll have him setup by next weekend, I'll let you know if there's an issue.

I have that ornament too, but won't be putting the tree up for at least two weeks.
