Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

Thank you for the Coyote Creek warming, Imzadi. Sounds terrible. I will record Hearts of Winter. Dad and I tried watching Love and Sunshine earlier. We both lasted 10 or so minutes. Did not like it at all. I hope those of you who did watch it all enjoyed :)

I liked Love & Sunshine but I do have an affinity for dogs, lol. With all these changes, I hope Hallmark keeps Kristoffer Polaha. I adore him.

Yes, it was sweet. It's with Jill Wagner, who they make play an interior designer, over and over. But, she does it well and her movies are sweet.

Oh NO!

This was exactly another movie I was thinking of when writing my last post, when I said putting Kevin McGarry in a movie with a bad actress is such a waste. Only, it wasn't Kevin McGarry, the wasted actor that time was Ryan Paevey. :badpc:

I was sooo looking forward to that movie. But they paired him up with Janel (Somebody), who I thought acted like a hideous shrew. :scared: She was so FURIOUS all the time. :furious: Ryan's character was apologizing to her over and over for something he shouldn't even had to apologize for. The actress doesn't seem to have the understanding that the female romantic lead is supposed to have some softness and be LIKEABLE. For instance, if Jill Wagner played the role, she would have played upset and hurt, instead of an angry shrew. I would have had sympathy for her. Janel ruined the whole movie for me and I can't watch it again, even just for Ryan. That really pissed me off. All I was thinking was, "RUN RYAN! RUN!"

Maybe die-hard Ryan Paevey fans can still watch it. Not me.
I agree! This one was absolutely ruined by the heroine. Kind of like anything with Erica Durance for me. I’ve tried to like her and I just don’t….

Wow really? Love and Sunshine is one of my favorites. But I love dogs and Danica, so there is that.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Elgerber! :) I also love dogs. I just felt the acting was lacking. I did love other Hallmark dog related movies. I don't recall the titles but I do know there were other miliary Christmas movies with dogs last year. Wasn't there a movie with a dog named Christmas? I just remember it was sweet! I hope each of you has a wonderful Wednesday :)

I liked Love & Sunshine but it wasn't one of my favorites. A movie that I really liked the male lead, Mark Deklin, in was Switched For Christmas. That's the first time I really noticed him, although he may have been in a few Hallmark movies before.

I know some of you don't care for Candace Cameron Bure. And when she acts "unknowing" I agree. And you may have stayed away from this movie as she plays twins. So, two of her would be worse. :crazy2: Yet, she was good in this movie as she played two really competent, strong, smart women. And she and Mark Deklin had a real chemistry with each other. He smiled all the time with her and he really seemed to sparkle around her. It was actually nice seeing real chemistry between the actors instead of, what seems like a couple darts thrown against a bulletin board filled with Hallmark stars names, and the two Hallmark stars the darts hit are paired with each other.

I hope Hallmark keeps Kristoffer Polaha. I adore him.

A problem with Hallmark keeping him now may be that his career may be taking off in other directions. When the heads of this "new Hallmark" took over and they let all the actors & actresses know there will be big changes and their job security was no longer assured, many of the actors & actresses got other work instead. Possibly better work. Kristoffer Polaha has a small role in Jurassic World 3. He may be able to get in more box office movies now.

The movie with a dog named Christmas is called A Veteran's Christmas with Sean Farris & Eloise Mumford. I really liked that movie.

Christmas in July is only 6 weeks away!
🎄

I watched Rip in Time and thoroughly enjoyed it. But then I’ve always loved time travel stories,

I enjoyed it, too. I could have done without the "folktale" aspect, but anything with Niall Matter is probably going to be good!

Actually watching it now. Enjoyable!

Thanks to all who recommended Rip in Time. I almost turned it off when I learned the guy's real name. But, stuck with it. I'm so glad I did. I really liked this movie! :thumbsup2

Why is she in everything lately?! Did they do a cutrate deal? 😉

Probably when the new executive producer told most of the regular actors that their jobs weren't secure and they ran and got cast in other projects,

Erica Durance stepped forward to say she is available.

I just finally watched Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Promises We Have Made. Seems like it was (or could be) the series conclusion and a real love letter to the fans. 💜💜💜💜💜

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

<sigh!> I've been putting off watching this as I had a feeling it was the end of such a wonderful series. I'll have to wait until I'm in the mood to face that.

I logged on specifically to say I'm watching that one now! I'm enjoying it as well.

I've scheduled "Color My World With Love" to tape on Sunday and noticed that there is a Signed, Sealed, Delivered marathon that day as well.

Speaking of time travel stories, what did all of you think of the Christmas train movie? I saw that listed recently but did not record. Looking forward to summer and Christmas in July movies to come.
